After watching the recent explosion of growth in Denver and talking with friends that had started their own businesses, we recognized that the traditional law firm approach of billable hours and big downtown offices wasn’t working for many new businesses. We founded VDB Legal to address this need and will work with you on a pricing structure that fits the needs and best interests of your business.  

Quarterly Check-Ins: 

Each quarter we will meet with you at no cost to talk about what has been happening in your business and give you advice looking towards the next quarter.  Whether you just brought on your first employee and aren’t sure if you need workers’ comp insurance or you are in the midst of negotiating a complex agreement, the more we know about the state of your business, the better suited we are to advise you.  Through these regular meetings, we can stay abreast of changes in your business, advise you on risks you didn’t know you had, and be up to speed when issues arise.

flat fees

We use flat fee pricing for many of our services so you know ahead of time what your costs will be.  We believe that legal fees should be predictable and transparent. The price ranges listed on our website are intended to give you an estimate of our fees, but each client’s needs are unique, so we use flexible fee arrangements that consider the complexity of your issue and fit your business. 

packages

Depending on your needs, we can create a customized package of legal services.  For example, if you are just starting out, we can bundle company formation and intellectual property services or if you’re growing and bringing on employees, we can build you a comprehensive employment package.

Hourly Billing

Where appropriate, hourly billing is also available.
